The Chiro-Scan is a complete imaging station with "plug-and-play" capability that can be up and running in your facility in just minutes. Anchored by the ALARA Chiro-Scan computed radiography scanning device with ultra-high resolution, this system is perfect for any clinic, private practice or remote satellite office.
After exposing a Chiro-Scan CR plate in the usual fashion...the plate is then laser scanned and enhanced with Alara's patented imaging software. The Chiro-Scan CR reader generates high quality (DICOM) digital images which can be viewed (using pre-set parameters) locally, on optional multiple or remote monitors. Images can be net-worked to a digital printer for hard copy prints or films, archived into a dedicated hard drive (NAS), or an optional networked back-up system.
